This is not one of my favorite books to learn watercolor from, and certainly not to learn flowers from. The instructions were not always clear, and I found the flowers to be quite melancholy. I did several of the exercises in the book, but later, after using another watercolor book with more radiant cheerful flowers, realized that this just wasn't the book for me. I was not impressed with the instructions. I still learned from this book, but would choose several other watercolor floral painting books before this one now that I know about it. It's just an OK book, but definitely not on the top of my list to recommend to someone or to use again.
