Seller's Description:
Good. Size: 13x9x1; First ed., 1957; 184 p., text by Jacques Lassaigne, many fabulous full-color tipped-in reproductions of masterworks; among inserts is a 1957 publisher's catalogue with tipped in reproduction of illumated ms. page as well as 3 cards with reproductions of a Memling, wrapped in tissue paper; 10 by 13 inches; pristine and unmarked anywhere--original black band with white lettering still surrounds glossy pictorial d.j., which shows no more wear than in a book store. Even the slip case shows little wear--slight smudge near back upper edge. Paper shows the mildest of age-toning despite the fact the book is well over sixty years old.
