Great Intro to Flamenco
This is a good introduction to Flamenco for anyone who is interested in learning about it. There aren't a lot of books in English that give an overview - brief history and background and development to the "present day" - the present day being 1991 when the book was published. Accordingly, it is somewhat out of date in reference to "present" performers but that shouldn't stop anyone from buying and reading the book. It was originally written in Swedish and translated into English but the translation is good and are lots of great pictures and drawings. A great book for anyone interested in flamenco and an excellent addition to any collection of books on flamenco.
