This book is wonderful and is Hilari Bell's talent at it's best. I found this book and decided to read it based on the cover art, yes I know, something you're not supposed to do but I was not disapointed and quitely went in search of the following book to no use until finally a friend took pity on me and loan be her copy of the second book and informed me that when the second book came out Bell changed the name of the first to Fall of a Kindom, changed the cover art to look very desolate, and also changed the series title to the Farsala Trilogy. I now own all three in hardback and am very happy with my purchases. I urge everyone to read this fantastic trilogy.
