Good book, but disappointing
As the headline of this review is intended to imply, although I felt that the book was "good", it wasn't quite "what I was expecting". I thought that it was going to be some intricate photographs of the insects that an Eastern flyfisher would encounter, followed by prose descriptions of how to imitate that image in a fly. When I got thte book, I discovered that: while the pictures were there (and... were QUITE excellent), there was nothing to tie them into the fly-tying realm.
So... While it WAS quite a good book, it wasn't quite what I was expecting/wanting.
