Poor in Poor jacket. Inscribed by Author(s)489 pages plus one genealogical table and one map of Greater Namaqualand and Damaraland (complete). In generally fair and hardy condition. The book has a clear, strong, plastic protective cover. The illustrated board cover is resolute, worn about the edges and corners and about the spine seams. About the back cover the spine seams are cracked and split-however, the security of the binding is not affected. The back cover has residue from storage and both front and back are handling marked. The papertrims have shelving and handling marks. The inside front cover is scarred. The table and map are in very neat, tidy condition. The frontis and title pages have been removed. The early pages have very light foxing and marks. Beyond this the pages are very sure, clear, bright, assured, firm and very accessible. fk.
