Very Good. No Jacket. Book Dated 1879 on the title page, likely an early reprint without gilded text block. Clean and tightly bound in bright blue cloth with gold titles and black embossed designs. Very light edge and shelf wear, remains Very Good. The endpapers have some light spotting. This copy is from a 19th Century private lending institution, the Mercantile Library of New York City. A handwritten number and the Mercantile Library stamp are on the title page and some of the internal pages. There are no other indications of the library's ownership.
