I bought this book as I am researching a specific action at the start of 1st Ypres namely the Battle of Le Pilly and this book had the best order of battle that I could find. It was the only place where I could get all the armies and corps involved in the battle. The one draw back I found was the poor references, that is quotes and figures were taken from other sources without reference as to where they came from thus making it hard to research other sources. Overall a must have book on this section of WW1and would be a good "field" book for anyone travelling to the area.
