The year 2020 was strange for everyone in the world. Living in a remote valley in Colorado it was easy to "isolate." Still, no person is an island and events in the outside world -- and the imperatives imposed by the virus -- led me to look at my life differently, to look at life itself differently. Luckily, I had the marvelous companionship of two great dogs, an enormous group of Sandhill Cranes, millions of acres of nature's wild beauty and good friendships.
