I bought this book At Barnes & Noble in 1999 when I found out my mother was terminal with breast cancer. It helped my sister and I deal with my mother's impending death and everything that went with it. She had some of the most beautiful spiritual things happen to her and I'm glad I read this book and had an idea what to expect. I spent a lot of days and hours with my mother before her death and wouldn't trade them for the world. It helps you understand a little better whats happening to your loved one.

Do not hesitate to buy, read, or give this book to yourself or anyone who'll be in close contact with a person who is expected to die sooner rather than later. Many things you may think are unique or unusual in a person's behavior are in fact universal and it's helpful to know that and to know how people have dealt with the situation. Even the first few words are enough to be helpful!

Excellent Book
Really good for when you are trying to prepare for a death in the family. Nothing really prepares you but any help is needed during that terrible time.
