Fascinating (on many levels!)
I really enjoyed this book! It's a collection of short stories and cartoons written by members of the Armed Forces during World War II. I was very impressed with the talents of many of these writers. Some of the stories seem a little bit dated now, and possibly a bit politically incorrect, but it's a fascinating insight into the minds of our fighting men (and women!)
As an aside, the editor (Warfield Lewis) was my grandfather, and I didn't even know he had done this project until finding the book online.
