perfect resource
This is an excellent book for ID of freshwater mussels of the midwest. They were not surveyed in Michigan, but many of the species are the same here, which make the book extremely helpful. Great pictures, excellent descriptions and listings of common names.
Wish this book was still in print, but glad that I was able to get a copy when I could.
