Promising new series!
I finished reading this book earlier today, and was disappointed the (just published) sequel wasn't right there to continue Annie's adventures. I , Annette, the cop in charge of the case makes a great foil. However ... I did feel that the main plot kind of got lost in the shuffle, but the author(s) had a lot of setting up to do for this series. Fans of Stephanie Plum will recognize Annie's good guy/bad boy (potential) love interests.
