Fr Browne's Dublin: Photographs 1925-1950 presents a selection of one hundred of these photographs, portraying both the photographer's vision and the city's energy as it changes during the first half of the twentieth century. Fr Browne focuses on the city's people, at work, playing, watching. It is a city of children, fallen horses, window shoppers, churchgoers, canals, bridges, boats, trams and trains. Its grand houses and its tenements, its middle classes and its poor, its industry and its hospitals - all find a response in this marvelous photographer's eye.
