This is the book I keep having to replace because it's the one I most often loan it out (and sometimes don't get it back).
It's that good. It didn't get 5 stars from me ONLY because of it's limited scope: there are other cults that should have been brought under the microscope of the authors.
Extremely well written and easily understandable. As I write this review, my wife is sharing it with a family member in another continent.

very well written
This book was very well written, thoroughly documented, and easy to understand. Good reference to have on hand.

A rather narrow viewpoint
I'll never understand the viewpoint of a "traditional" christian...the we're right and everyone else is wrong attitude. It's judgemental and so far to the right it's not even funny.
I do however, believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, even when it glaringly is based on nothing more than a book that has been transcribed a number of times to suit the religious and political whims of the transcribers.
