A catalogue of trees in the Schuylkill section gives ranging between eighteen and twenty-seven feet in circumference; under eighteen feet, and of hard-wood shrubs and vines, The dense character of the woodland along the Wissahickon has pre vented any absolute calculation it is estimated that there are over trees in this section it is heavily wooded for the distance of six miles.
