And, Mr. Edgecomb, there is one bird in particular which I have heard every spring for practically all my life, and yet I am not absolutely certain that I ever laid eyes on him. I have a great curiosity to see him and to learn his name. His haunts are not five minutes' walk from this house. Will you let me take you there after breakfast?
