Reluctantly Dawn, as her alter ego Fade, is thrust out into a stormy night, having to face not only this threat but her fears as well. Emaleigh Brady, a young journalist eager for her first big story, might have found it in the unsolved disappearances of three university students in the small town of White-Moor Hill. She decides to retrace the steps of the former reporter, Stacey McManus, who'd investigated the story, by going back to the small town. Due to there being no room in the motel, she's forced to stay in a cabin in the forest outside of town.
