Author bio: Steve DeWitt was raised in Iowa and educated at Cornerstone University and Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. He was first a pastor at College Park Church in Indianapolis. Since 1997 he has served as senior pastor of Bethel Church (bethelweb.org) in NW Indiana. Bethel is a multi-site church including an urban community center in downtown Gary.
