This is a historical fiction about the beginning of Israel as a nation after WWII. It is a fascinating read that will make history come to life for you.

Good read
I enjoyed reading this book -- it helped to fill in a lot of gaps in my knowledge about the history of Jews and Israel in particular. Uris is a great writer (I read Trinity years ago, and plan to read The Haj at some point in the near future.) The book is definitely biased toward the Jews and against the Arabs, but well-written and hopefully historically accurate.

Exodus
This is a great book and I think everyone should read it. It explains a great deal about the people of the countries that America (and other countries) are at war with now. Leon Uris did a lot of research for this, and other books, and he is a great writer that sticks to the facts..

ISRAEL ZIONISM ZIONIST SHOA HOLOCAUST
A sweeping historical novel of the events and characters surrounding the reestablishment of the nation of Israel in Palestine. Gives a true to life and accurate portrayal of the events surrounding the founding of modern day Israel. The movie, starting Frank Sinatra, Paul Newman, Pat Boone and a host of hollywood superstars is inspiring, at times humorous and a great way to waste 2 hours of your time! Catchy music too.
