Small 8vo. Mustard cloth with gilt and black lettering and extensive black pictorial stamping. 454pp, (4pp ads). Very good. Mild binding wear, else internally tight and nice. A tight, quite attractive early printing ("Twentieth Thousand") of this most prudish and euphemistic of Victorian birds-and-bees manuals, with later chapters covering such topics as "Housekeeping and Home-Making, " "Dress, " "Gossip" and so on. Sex advice as comically vague as only the Victorians can make it!
