This was a gift for my husband who is a long-time fan of Escher's art. He was very pleased with the book both in terms of the drawings and the condition of the book itself. He was really hoping for a book with just the complete graphic works without the text, but was pleased all the same. I think it may be interesting to read about his life, in any case and may do so in time.
