Like Queensr’che, Savatage, and Rush, Goat doesn't try to pull listeners in immediately with catchy, easy-to-digest hooks and riffs -- moody items like "Hell in Ruin," "Downbound Train" (not to be confused with the Bruce Springsteen song) and "White Dog/Purple Pussy" are fairly involved and require several listens to be fully absorbed.
