White endpapers. Shallow tan mark on the outside edge of the free front and free rear endpapers looks like watermark, but there's nothing on the interior to suggest water exposure. Binding is straight and tight. Pages are all clean, but darkend by time, poor quality stock, or both-darker around the outside edges. 214 pages. Dust Jacket-1/4" of the head and tail of the spine has been chipped away, and there is a 1/8" chip in the tip of each of the four outside corners. Light rubbing all along the upper and lower edges of the jacket and along the outside edges of the spine. Couple tiny closed tears with some accompanying wrinkling-most notable wrinkling is around the front corner of the tail of the spine. Colors are still pretty vivid and the jacket has a pretty nice overall presentation. Original $3.50 price on the lower corner of the front inside flap. First of Reiner's humorous autobiographical novels. Reiner would later become a Hollywood fixture, acting in a profusion of television shows and films, and directing comic masterpieces such as Oh, God, The Jerk, The Man With Two Brains, All of Me, Summer Rental, and many others.
