From the description or cover, one would not guess this book does not contain ANY Cantonese characters. There are three types of romanization, so saying it is in Yale romanization is no indicator that it does not contain characters. I already studied Mandarin Chinese, so I know for a fact how important characters are when learning and using dictionaries. I do not see how this dictionary is of any help for someone that actually wants to learn the language. I do not recommend this to anyone, this will not help you at all (and this I say it as a Mandarin Chinese teacher). Finding good dictionaries is already a challenge. Waste of time and money.
