Very Good. 12mo, cloth, very good, endpapers quite tanned, small stain to front pastedown, text very good, age toned. RARE in commerce. The author, born in Roxbury MA and part of a group of young writers in Boston, worked at a number of jobs including as cataloger at BPL. In 1901 she decamped to London to pursue her writing career with a sharper focus, but unfortunately ill health plagued her and she did not write much after she left the states, including leaving an unfinished biography of Henry Vaughan.
