This book is less love story, more adventure. Cutter embarks on a quest to find out if there are more elves in their world than the Wolfriders and the Sun Villagers.
Again, as whimsical as the artwork is, this book is not for kids. That being said, it is a great book. I love it. I love Wendi?s artwork ? not just the way her settings and characters come to beautiful life on the pages, but also the layout of the pages; all of it is art. It is beautiful and the story is great.
One thing that is interesting about these reprinted Archives is that there are more panels than the original releases. Sometimes I like these new additions and sometimes I don?t. There is an added section at the end of Book 1 where Skywise is bathing with 3 girls. I?m not fond of it. In Book 2, there is some extra footage of the adventure of Olbar?s daughter and her lover, and that I do like. Anyway I think it?s new; it?s hard to remember because until I bought the Archives, I hadn?t seen it since the 80s. I?m so glad these are being reprinted!
