Very Good. From the collection of Ex-Libris, with their bookplate. Bright green bottom page edges. Frontispiece. Publication of 208 pages. There is gilt on the spine and on the front of the book. The boards are a little shelf rubbed. Internally the pages are clean and bright. The binding is excellent. GK.
Written during the Depression, this book is written like a Boy Scout Merit Badge manual. The author states that a determined young man with a vise and three files can make a go of becoming a gunsmith. People had longer attention spans back then. Good information if you like old rifles. A lot of it still valid for someone tinkering at home. Remember to check your firearm is unloaded before tinkering.
