Generally, an interesting premise for a submarine book, but too radical for my tastes. A scientist who is researching a 'sea monster' that has been sinking ships, he ends up aboard the monster; an eco-sub that has no offensive or defensive weapons. It does, however, ram any ship they feel is hurting the environment. They don't seem concerned if there is loss of human life. Dr. Peter Kraft falls for one of the women, they have a relationship, and as he spends time with this group, he develops Stockholm Syndrome, and even takes part in one of their eco-terrorism raids, where someone dies. I found it absurd. I know there are people like that out there, but I wouldn't be joining them.
