Not intersting enough.
I was "required" to read it, is the only way I can sum up my experience with this book (Economics 18th e).
Economics is very dry to begin with and the authors don't help the cause. I'm not sure if there are any interesting books out there on this subject but this one definitely isn't one. I got an A in Micro and Macro and we used the same book for both classes. I just wish they wrote it with little more care for who the audience is for the book. Not professors but 19 - 20 year old kids with ever shrinking attention-spans.
I gave it 3 stars because the book itself is sold, quality paper is used and nice use of colors within the text.

HELP for those not in the KNOW
Coming from a Liberal Arts background, German Literature, I cannot understand the economic news. Interest up, interest down, etc. etc. Well, that changed after I bought this book ? now when I watch the news or listen to Marketplace on NPR, I understand what is going on and do not feel like an idiot. For a low price and after a few hours of reading you can now be in the know?of course if you are a student of economics you can laugh at this review ? but for you laymen, like me, BUY it , READ it?and you will be in the know too!
