This was a present for my niece, and she loved it. Temporarily it changed her life: she became a whole food vegan. That left her too tired, but sent her on a quest for still another book, scientifically much more sophisticated. So this book was an important stepping stone for her.

wild nutrition
Don't be misled by the title. This book isn't really about grazing forests like Mr. Gibbons. What it will do is help you make the most of veg & fruits you are probably already enjoying but while maximizing nutrition & health. Best chapter on apples ever seen. Read (or skim) this book to help your diet overcome the pitfalls of current agribusiness and regain the micronutrients, enzymes, and isoflavanoids your body needs.
