Excellent Information
This book contains excellent information about nutrition. It is easy to apply to your life, either to make little changes or to alter your whole body. This book was a little too technical for me, but I have discovered that this author also has easier-to read books, if you need them.

Predictable and long-winded
I have read books like this before. The advice may be sound, and to a large extent I agree with it, but it is very repetitive, as though saying something often makes it more true. How about a concise presentation of the research, without jargon, and an easy-to-find plan to follow?
Having lost 50 lbs. before I read this, I was looking for something to kick-start the next phase, and this IS proving somewhat successful, so I can forgive some of the boring repetition. But essentially this is nothing new - just rephrased.

A reference book
Tis is a smallish book but big on information & creating incentives & guidelines for losing weight while eating healthfully.
It's wise to regard this as a reference book, to be read slowly over time.

good book
An interesting concept and it works. However, one can get tired of beans. Fruit and salads are great!!
