The author is the daughter of Ann Landers and the niece of Dear Abby, both famous (and competing) advice columnists of the 50's through the 80's. Margo trashes her aunt in the first chapter, an unnecessary and mean spirited move. Yes, the women had a bit of a feud back then, but they're both gone and there's no reason to carry that unpleasantness to the next generation. I tried to read on but couldn't.
