Originally from Santa Cruz, Dura-Delinquent was a foursome of hard-drinking maniacs who began their career as a band by setting fires, jumping on tables at clubs, and making out with each other on-stage. In the very beginning, they were a bit of a Nation of Ulysses knockoff, going so far as to wear matching suits, but soon they settled into a bluesy garage sound that is in full bloom on this, their self-titled debut. It's raw stuff, gutter blues-rock riffs with plenty of "whoops" and general carrying on from singer Hans Murnau.
