Firm and square, strong joints, no snags, no bumps. Complete with original dustjackets, showing well, just mildly rubbed and toned. Contents tight and clean; no pen-marks, save the endpapers showing the former owner name of the noted academic M.A.R. Barker. Not from a public library so no such stamps or labels. Collation: pp. xxix, 609 and pp. xi, 185. Both volumes fully indexed. Thus a very good pair books. Scarce.
