A fine Dorrie story
Dorrie and the Haunted House is a typical Dorrie story, delightfully illustrated and happy at the end. Dorrie, a bit of a mess, always manages to save the day when the Big Witch and the other grown up can't. In this story Dorrie's bravery and quick wittedness come in handy when she gets herself into tight spot. The adult witches are looking for two bad guys who happen to be hiding in the local haunted house. Dorrie gets herself locked out of the house, walks through the woods, sees the haunted house and goes inside. She thinks the two bad guys are ghosts, they think she is a ghost and she catches them in the end. All the adult witches are grateful and declare a national holiday in Dorrie's honour.
