This three-disc budget collection has a ton of 1950s vocal group hits, although it might be stretching things a bit to call all of them doo wop, at least in the standard definition of the term. That said, this is a party in a box, ranging from the expected ("Earth Angel" by the Penguins, "The Great Pretender" by the Platters) to the slightly unexpected (the Rivingtons' classic soul/surf hit "Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow"). ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
