Highly Original Thinking
I bought this book after borrowing it from the library because I wanted to be able to highlight sections of it.
The author is a professor at Oxford University. Part of his work with young people involves guiding them in career choice, especially for those who hope to make a difference with their lives. So, about 3 chapters are devoted to career advice.
Otherwise, the book has many thoughtful ideas on choosing charities that provide the most return on your dollars. He even provides formulas for these evaluations.
I was pleasantly surprised that he is a vegetarian, and includes not only organizations that help humans, but also those that work for animal welfare.
Highly recommended.
