This book is so very special to me. It covers a certain niche of Indian Heritage..that is just not to be found everywhere. It includes drawings and artists rendering so lifelike that at first you might think you've received the copy of the book in error. This author speaks knowingly about certain regalia and customs of organizations of the American Indian that may well be fading if not faded into the mists of time. He includes these organizations for male and some female groups. I might add that he must of been a very special person ..to have been allowed this information from the Indians of the time. ..and very well respected. I highly recommend this book to those gathering collections of books that offer knowledge --true knowledge of these social groups and gatherings of the American Indian of the United States !
