The first Disney Devotionals included 100 devotionals about the rides, shows, and attractions found at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. After the success of that book, several fans began asking Albert when he was going to write another. He decided to take on the challenge. His first task was to decide on a new subject as he had exhausted all the attractions at Walt Disney World in the first book. After considering many ideas and suggestions from others, he decided that he didn't want to stray too far from the Disney theme. Therefore, he chose to travel from one coast to the other and take on the unique attractions found at Walt Disney's original land of magic and fantasy, Disneyland, in Anaheim, California.
