International Implications
Singer is the master of legal thrillers. This one is about a missionary couple in Saudi Arabia. The man is tortured and killed. The woman is arrested. A young American lawyer files a civil lawsuit against Saudi Arabia. While he is prosecuting the case, witnesses are intimidated, jurors are bribed, and one of Brad's own team sabotages their case. I was shocked when I found out who it was.
Meanwhile, he falls in love with his co-counsellor. An intricate story with courtroom drama told with details only an insider would know.
