Great Book for Toddler
I first read this book to my son when he was 2 1/2 yrs old and he sat through the entire book. I couldn't believe he had the attention span for a non board book. Kevin Lewis and Illustrator Daniel Kirk did a great job. It totally encompasses my son's daily routine so he related to everything that was in the book. Not to mention he learned about his dinosaurs at 2 1/2. It's really adorable to hear him saying Triceratops and T-rex. To be honest he loves Car Books but I got him to read a different book about Dinosaurs and he loves it. He also related to the key Dinosaurs charater having a stuffed animal. My son's happens to be an elephant and in the story the Dinosaur has a Wolly Mammoth. This is favorite book of all time. We also bought Kevin Lewis other books b/c we loved the way the book is written and the illustrations by Daniel Kirk. I just bought this book from Alibris for my sister's 15 month old twins. She loves the book and she knows her kids will love it just as much as my son does. It only takes one book to get kids really interested in reading. There is somehting on every page to engage any toddler---great book!
