Great Reference for Collectable China Patterns

I purchased this book to use in my antiques and collectables business. This book has been a great reference for determining what pieces of china are valuable and their relative worth. I have also used this book to expand my own collections, selecting from patterns that I find particularly beautiful. The patterns are confined to the top 500 popular patterns, so some beautiful china has been left out of the book. The written content of the book is interesting and helpful with background material on the china companies and the history of dinnerware. You can use this book to research individual companion pieces that are available. There is also much written on table settings and china care. It is a great reference book for the resale marketer.
