The author, a professor at Cornell University, omitted the most important disinterment and reburial in his own state , that of District Attorney, Mayor and Governor De Witt Clinton, buried in Little Albany Cemetery in 1828 and disinterred and reburied in Brooklyn's Green-Wood Cemetery, perhaps the most famous cemetery in Prof Kammen's state, in 1853.
