Without using complex mathematics, this book explains what diffractive optics is and what it can do. In the opening chapter, the fundamental principles of diffractive optics are explained in some detail, as well as the appropriate design and fabrication schemes. The chapters that follow each concentrate on a particular subject in the field of diffractive optics.
