Dieser komplexe und in der Linguistik bisher noch unerforschte Funktionszusammenhang wird in einem umfangreicheren Forschungsprojekt aus textlinguistischer und multimodaler Perspektive untersucht. In der vorliegenden Studie sollen zum einen die theoretischen Grundlagen f???r das geplante Projekt erarbeitet werden. Zum anderen soll die Studie der eigenst???ndigen Erprobung des gew???hlten theoretisch-methodischen Instrumentariums an einem noch begrenzten empirischen Datenausschnitt dienen. Dabei soll gezeigt werden, wie zum Funktionieren der komplexen Institution Theater nicht nur die k???nstlerischen Texte, sondern auch zahlreiche "nicht-poetische" Textsorten und multimodale Angebote beitragen.
