Von Bedeutung sind ebenfalls die gesellschaftlichen und politischen Akteure und deren normative Rahmensetzung, in der der Zucker zu einem allt???glichen Nahrungsmittel werden konnte und bis heute einstige Konkurrenten substituiert hat. Neben den historischen Entwicklungen der R???benzuckerindustrie, insbesondere in der mitteldeutschen Region, sowie der Ver???nderung der Bedeutung des Zuckers im 17. und 18. Jahrhundert, soll insbesondere auf politische sowie historische Faktoren eingegangen werden, die den Zuckerkonsum beg???nstigten oder beschr???nkten. Daneben spielen sozialpsychologische Aspekte eine Rolle, die den Zucker von einem reinen Luxusprodukt der Oberschicht zu einem allt???glichen Nahrungsmittel werden lie???en. Hierbei soll neben Akteuren auch die kulturelle Bedeutung des Zuckerkonsums, welcher je nach Zeitpunkt als wertvoller Kalorientr???ger hofiert oder ???berwiegend als ungesund verteufelt wurde, untersucht werden.
