Against this background, the initial chapters of Phanomenologie des Geistes (The Phenomenology of Spirit) and subsequently most especially the Wissenschaft der Logik (The Science of Logic) as well as Hegel's standing in the history of philosophy are discussed from various viewpoints. German description: Die Metaphysik ist ihrem Anspruch nach die theoretische und universale (nicht hermeneutische und nicht perspektivische) Wissenschaft des logischen Raumes, d. h. der Gesamtheit dessen, was der Fall sein und gedacht werden kann.
