Nichtsdestotrotz hat sich seit dem keine zufriedenstellende Situation f???r die Betroffenen eingestellt. Viele Konzepte sind ihrem Wesen nach sehr einseitig. Sie beschr???n-ken sich auf bestimmte Problemgruppen oder Sichtweisen. Das Empowermentkonzept will offen sein f???r verschiedenste Entwicklungen. Empowerment ist kein ganz neuer Ansatz. Aber es ist ein Ansatz der weder nur bei den Rechten, noch nur bei den Bed???rftigkeiten der Menschen stehen bleiben will, weder f???r "wohlwollende Vernachl???ssigung", noch f???r "???berbeh???tung" steht. Es m???chte ein Konzept sein, das das "wie" beschreibt, in dem sich soziale Entwicklungen vollziehen. Das "was" also der in-haltliche Aspekt, mit dem es gef???llt wird, bleibt offen, und kann nur von den "Betroffenen" selbst entschieden und umgesetzt werden. Wer in den Betroffenen nur inkompetente, hilflose und pflegebed???rftige Menschen sieht, verf???ngt sich in einem defizitorientierten Blickwinkel. Empowerment fordert, den Menschen als vollwertig wahrzunehmen, egal in welch marginaler Position. Es ist ein Ansatz der weg geht von einer Defizitorientierung, die den beeintr???chtigten Menschen nur als B???ndel seiner Probleme wahrnimmt, die er selbst zu verantworten hat. Er geht aus von den St???rken und Ressourcen, die ein jeder Mensch hat, egal in welcher Lage er Sicht befindet. Empowerment - ein Ansatz, der pers???nliche, auf den Lebenskontext bezogene und damit logischerweise divergente L???sungsstrategien bevorzugt. Ein Ansatz der dies nicht favorisiert, kann auch der Divergenz der Frage nach der "Verr???cktheit" nicht gerecht werden. Mich interessieren in dieser Arbeit aber vor allem auch die Konsequenzen, die dieser Ansatz f???r Menschen in psychiatrischen Einrich
