Mit den Revolutionen von 1830 und 1848/49, der Verfassungsentwicklung, der Bildung organisierter Parteien, der Industrialisierung und der Entstehung der Arbeiterbewegung, dem Aufkommen des Nationalismus und territorial gebundener Nationalstaaten sowie der umfassenden Erweiterung politischer Dimensionen zur Weltpolitik setzte sich dieser Proze??? der Herausbildung der Modeme fort. Es war eine Zeit der Erneuerung, des Durchbruchs neuer Ideen und Entwicklungen - ein revo- lution???res Zeitalter in vielerlei Hinsicht, allen antirevolution???ren Kr???ften und Beharrungsversuchen zum Trotz.
